    According to the American Heart Association, the heat generated in a hot tub causes blood vessels to open (a process called vasodilation), lowering blood pressure.  If you have high blood pressure, be sure to clear hot tub use with your Doctor and most doctors suggest limiting soaking time to 15 minutes or less at a water temperature no hotter than 104 degrees.

Relieve Arthritis Pain with Hot Tub Water Exercises

Increase the intensity of pool and hot tub exercises by jumping or hopping. Stand in chest-deep water and jump forward, landing softly with bent knees before jumping up again backward to return to start. Use a line on the bottom of the pool to ensure you are moving forward and backward efficiently. Jump for 30 seconds before resting, and repeat two more times.
